#CIFP2022
Conference on Indonesian Foreign Policy (CIFP) is a festival of diplomacy that aims to bring all the stakeholders together in an intellectually rich, open, and inspirational from all over Indonesia and abroad. CIFP has been described as “a combination of an international seminar and a rock concert,” reflecting how rare for a foreign policy conference to display a festive high-energy atmosphere attended by thousands of people, primarily young people.
The theme of this year’s CIFP is "Navigating a Turbulent Ocean." Guided by this theme, policymakers, experts, opinion leaders, and other stakeholders will explore ways by which Indonesian foreign policy can assess, manage, and effectively deal with the challenges and uncertainties of a global situation battered by the war in Ukraine, the COVID-19 pandemic, major power rivalries, widespread food insecurity, runaway inflation, disruptions in the supply chain, and the ravages of climate change. At the same time, the panel will focus on finding and elaborating on strategic opportunities that underlie the dire global situation.
